HEAD OF THE CHURCH
Jesus Christ
Christ is the head of the church. Scripture governs the church’s doctrine, mission, and practice.
Church Structure
One local church. Many people serving together.
TWBC is organized to keep biblical leadership clear, ministry accountable, and members equipped to take part in the work of the church.
Preach, teach, lead, and oversee.
Pastors bear responsibility for spiritual leadership and the ministry of the Word.
Serve the church’s practical needs.
The deacon supports the church and pastors through qualified, faithful service.
Carry out ministry faithfully.
Teams and workers serve within defined ministries, responsibilities, and leadership.
Assemble, serve, give, pray, and reach people.
The work of the church belongs to the congregation, not merely to a small leadership group.
