Start with willingness. You do not need to know the perfect role before reaching out.
There is meaningful work to do.
God gives believers opportunities to serve one another, help carry out the work of the church, and use what they have been given for the good of others. At TWBC, serving begins with willingness, develops through faithfulness and training, and grows as people learn where they can help best.
We learn more about your interests, availability, experience, and the current ministry needs.
Some opportunities are simple; others require preparation, qualification, or supervised training.
Faithful workers may grow into greater responsibility and, where appropriate, team leadership.
Many ministries. One church working together.
TWBC organizes ministry through departments and teams so responsibilities are clear and the work can be carried out faithfully. Explore an area that interests you; specific opportunities can change as needs change.

Most church ministry happens locally and in person because the church gathers, reaches people, teaches, cares, and serves together. Some ministries also include online or remote work when the work itself can be done faithfully from a distance.
In-person service
Soul winning, transportation, hospitality, care, children's ministry, worship services, facilities, technology, events, and many other roles depend on people being present.
Serve from a distance where appropriate
Some media, communications, TrueWords+, administrative, prayer, or supporter work may have remote opportunities. Remote service is based on actual ministry needs, not a separate class of involvement.
Interest is the beginning, not automatic placement.
Different ministries carry different responsibilities. A person may be able to begin helping immediately in one area while another role may require membership, age requirements, screening, doctrinal agreement, training, scheduling, demonstrated faithfulness, or leadership approval.
We would rather place people thoughtfully and train them well than rush someone into a role that is not a good fit.
Start where there is a real need
Ministry opportunities should serve the actual work of the church, not create titles for their own sake.
Learn before leading
Workers can learn the ministry, become dependable, and take greater responsibility as they are ready.
Faithfulness matters
Availability, consistency, teachability, and follow-through are important in every ministry.
