Revelation unveils Jesus Christ as the risen Lord, faithful witness, Lamb, Lion, King of kings, Judge, and coming ruler. John receives messages for seven churches and then sees heavenly worship, seals, trumpets, conflict between the woman, dragon, and beasts, bowls of wrath, Babylon’s fall, Christ’s victorious return, the thousand years, final judgment, and the new heaven, new earth, and New Jerusalem. The book calls churches to overcome faithfully because the Lamb wins, evil is judged, death is defeated, and God dwells with his people forever.
