What is happening here?
Jehoshaphat returns safely to Jerusalem, but Jehu the seer confronts him: he should not have helped the ungodly Ahab. The prophet also acknowledges good things in Jehoshaphat, including his removal of groves and preparation of heart to seek God. Jehoshaphat then travels among the people, brings them back to the LORD, appoints judges in fortified cities, and establishes a higher court in Jerusalem with priests, Levites, and chief fathers.
