CHAPTER STUDY WORKSPACE

Acts 28

On Malta Paul survives a viper bite, heals Publius’s father, and ministers to many sick people. After winter the party reaches Rome, where believers come to meet Paul. Under house arrest he explains his case to Jewish leaders and spends a full day persuading them concerning the kingdom of God and Jesus from Moses and the prophets. Some believe and others do not. Paul closes the scene by quoting Isaiah’s warning about hardened hearing and declaring that God’s salvation is sent to the Gentiles. For two years he receives visitors and preaches with all confidence, no man forbidding him.
