What is happening here?
Genesis 2 completes the creation account by recording God’s rest on the seventh day and then focusing closely on man, the garden of Eden, the command concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the creation of woman. Adam is formed from the dust, receives life from God, is placed in the garden to dress and keep it, names the animals, and receives Eve as the companion God made for him.
