CHAPTER STUDY WORKSPACE

Romans 8

Romans 8 opens with no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus and explains that the law of the Spirit of life has freed believers from the law of sin and death. The Spirit dwells in believers, leads God’s children, assures adoption, and helps in weakness. Present suffering is contrasted with coming glory; creation groans for redemption. God works all things together for good within His foreknown and predestined purpose, and Paul closes with an unbreakable chain from foreknowledge to glorification and the certainty that nothing can separate believers from God’s love in Christ.
