Stephen, Shelby, and a young girl named Trinity visited the church today. I believe Stephen is living in the same house as Jerry so Jerry most likely told Stephen about the church. Praying that Jerry is okay and gets out of the hospital soon. After church, while people were eating, I was able to give Shelby the Gospel. Stephen and Trinity did not hear the Gospel yet so we need to make sure we reach them with the Gospel if they come back.

We all went out, 16 of us, to W Gaulbert Ave close to the church. We prayed before we began. My wife, Pam, was with me and my youngest daughter Abigail (see the pictures below). I saw a group of young children out playing by the side walk. I asked Pam to speak to them. She gave them the Gospel successfully. She tried to get their mom to come out of the house, but she wasn't interested.

As Pam was giving the Gospel to those 3 young children, I met a man that already knew the Bible better than anyone that I've met in the area. His name was Tre. I spoke with him right at the start of soul winning. He was sitting on the front porch. He's already saved based on the answers he gave me. He said he knew the Baptist beliefs very well. I am praying he will think about coming to church and joining us there. Tre told me he has bad cancer with tears in his eyes. I talked with him for probably 30 plus minutes. I prayed with him about the cancer before I left, and I am praying for him now.

We continued down the road. A woman pulled up in a car. Her name was Karla. She was already saved. And she was heading into a home that Chris K and Robert H has already been to. Pam and I spoke with Karla for a while. She's a nice young woman. We are praying she will come to church. She has a 2 year old son named Sinncere and a daughter named Eddie-mae that we are praying for as well. A child named Montae was sitting on that front porch. He didn't appear to be able to walk or move his legs. He was playing with a Power Ranger. And he told me all about that power ranger. Pam tried the Gospel with him, but he couldn't concentrate. I ordered a power ranger from Wal-Mart, and we're going to take it to him one day soon. We are praying he might listen to the Gospel this next time we see him. Please pray with us. He's a very nice young man.

As we finished talking to Montae, we looked down the street for the rest of our soul winning team. We didn't see anyone down W Gaulbert. Pam and I got in the van as we still had about 15 minutes left during the soul winning session. We drove over to the next street. W Lee St and got out of the van. We saw all the other soul winners out on this street. At the second door I knocked on, loud music was playing. A 19 year old young lady named Saniya answered the door. There were little children running to the door. Someone inside the house turned down the music. Saniya decided she wanted to hear the Gospel and know for sure that she would be going to heaven. She listened well. She was distracted a few times because of the small children. But she received the Gospel and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. She also prayed with me and I talked to her about getting baptized as well. I am praying her and her family will come to church this Sunday!

We had a great day of church and soul winning. We had 2 people get baptized at church today too: Christina L and Shanae T! It was a great day at church. We thank God and glorify God for the 16 soul winners out and the 8 salvations. Now we pray those people will get baptized and join us at church. Please pray for all of these people.
