1 Chronicles 15 Overview
David prepares a second attempt to bring the ark to Jerusalem. This time he states plainly that only the Levites are to carry it and acknowledges that the earlier breach happened because they did not seek God according to the proper order. Priests and Levites sanctify themselves, the ark is carried on shoulders, musicians lead the procession, sacrifices are offered, and the ark reaches Jerusalem with joy. Michal despises David as she watches him dance.
