Genesis 7 Overview
Genesis 7 records the beginning and full force of the flood. Noah, his family, clean and unclean animals, and birds enter the ark according to God’s command. After seven days the fountains of the great deep and windows of heaven are opened. The waters increase until even the high hills are covered. All land-dwelling life outside the ark dies, while Noah and those with him remain alive in the ark.
