Hosea closes by calling Israel to return to the LORD with words of confession, acknowledge that Assyria and military power cannot save, and renounce idols. God promises to heal backsliding, love freely, turn away anger, and make Israel flourish like dew-fed plants; the final verse says the wise will understand that the LORD’s ways are right.
