Jesus feeds five thousand with five barley loaves and two fishes, withdraws when the crowd wants to make Him king by force, and walks on the sea. In Capernaum He teaches that the true work God requires is to believe on the One He sent, identifies Himself as the Bread of Life, promises everlasting life to the believer, and distinguishes true faith from fleshly misunderstanding.
