Wise men from the east come seeking the newborn King of the Jews. Herod and Jerusalem are troubled, the chief priests identify Bethlehem from Micah, and the wise men worship the child. Warned by God, they depart another way; Joseph takes Jesus to Egypt, Herod kills the children of Bethlehem, and the family later returns to Nazareth after Herod’s death.
