Zechariah sees a man with a measuring line going to measure Jerusalem. The city is promised such future growth that it will be inhabited without walls, while the LORD Himself becomes a wall of fire around it and the glory in its midst. Exiles are called to flee Babylon, Zion is told to rejoice, and many nations are promised union with the LORD.
