About This Course
Bible Doctrine III: The Trinity is the third course in the paid TrueWords+ Bible Doctrine path. It does not begin with diagrams or philosophical speculation. It opens the Bible and asks the student to hold together everything Scripture reveals: there is one God; the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are personally distinct; and Scripture reveals the Son and Holy Ghost as divine.
Premium-course standard
Every lesson uses complete KJV Scripture, verse-to-verse comparison, a Doctrine Lab, three unique Quick Checks, and direct engagement with difficult texts and competing claims. The final exam requires 85% mastery.
What you will learn
- Why biblical monotheism is the foundation of Trinitarian doctrine.
- What Christians mean—and do not mean—by the words Trinity and Person.
- How Scripture reveals the Father as God, the Son as God, and the Holy Ghost as God without teaching three gods.
- How Jesus’ baptism, the Great Commission, John 1, John 14–17, Acts 5, apostolic blessings, and Old Testament passages fit together.
- Why the eternal Son did not begin at Bethlehem and why “firstborn” and “only begotten” do not make Him a creature.
- Why the Holy Ghost is a divine Person who speaks, wills, teaches, intercedes, and can be grieved.
- How to answer Oneness/modalism, tritheism, Arian-type created-Christ claims, and common objections such as “My Father is greater than I.”
- How the Trinity shapes salvation, prayer, worship, and Christian fellowship.
- How to build and teach a Bible-first defense of the Trinity from many passages.
TrueWords+ position: We affirm one God and the real personal distinction of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We reject Oneness/modalism, tritheism, and any teaching that makes Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost a created or lesser deity. Eternal life is received by faith in Jesus Christ; mastering theological vocabulary is not an additional condition of salvation.
